BUSINESS UNIT MANAGER PLASTICS IN SWITZERLAND (M/F/D 100%)

You are called to create the conditions for each team member to perform at their best, ensuring continuous growth of your own skills as well as those of your colleagues. Thanks to this, and with clear and transparent communication as the ultimate goal, you will operate an effective delegation process, and achieve the best results. In this you will collaborate directly with our CEO.
- Managing all employees connected with the business unit.
- Defining and implementing the strategic measures in the marketing/sales area of the business unit achieving the strategy KPI.
- Organizing the unit with the goal of sustainably promoting profitability and business development.
- Preparing the ambitious budget with the team and working on achieving the budgeted profit & loss KPIs.
- Giving cross-team support with suppliers and customers.
- Establishing and maintaining a strong network with suppliers and customers.
WHAT YOU NEED

You firmly believe in expertise, knowledge, and agility, demonstrating a dedication to learning and innovation. You work in teams, recognizing the value of collaboration and sharing skills. Moreover, you conduct your business following strict ethical rules, showing integrity and responsibility in all your actions. Furthermore, you have:
- Experience in a similar leadership position.
- Experience in the plastics industry and with a distributor.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Organizational skills with initiative and engagement.
- Strong negotiation skills.
- Technical degree (at least bachelor or equivalent).
- Further training in strategy and employee-centric leadership (e.g. EMBA).
- Fluent in German and English.
