You will make a decisive contribution to the establishment of long-term, profitable business relationships with OEMs, processors, delivery plants, and representations. Our products in the upper price and service segment are used in the automotive, electrical and electronic, consumer, industrial, and medical sectors. You will visit business partners regularly (travel approx. 60%). You will develop new applications for the OEMs and assist the processors. Your results will be reported directly to the Business Team Leader Plastics.
What you offer
With your technical background (plastics technology, technician/eng. HTL/FH) from the plastics industry, you are a sales-oriented problem-solver and you already have several years' professional experience. The key to your success will be individual initiative, independence, and flexibility. Pleasure in selling, good German and English (French is an advantage) are crucial for your results.
You will be responsible for the commercial and logistical handling of imports and exports of raw materials for the business team and you will independently support the warehouse incl. monitoring of inventory (no-movers and slow-movers). You will be the link between customers and suppliers' plants, including the coordination of schedules and their monitoring. You will be responsible for the logistical support of the supplier plants and create the forecasts. You will support individual customers in telemarketing and independently create offers in cooperation with the salespeople. Negotiations with transport and storage companies with respect to prices and services are another part of this varied task area.
What you offer
You have completed an apprenticeship in shipping and have at least three years' professional experience. You like to work independently, assume responsibility, and you possess individual initiative and flexibility. Good German and English (French is an advantage) are a requirement for this demanding position.
